Meaningless, meaningless
This one is gonna have to be short, cuz House M.D. comes on in 14 minutes, and I don’t want to miss it.
Thanksgiving!!! My Wednesday night professor thinks its a weird idea. Granted, he’s British and views the holiday as nothing more than a way to ruin the specialness of Christmas, but maybe he’s right. Should we be eating turkey twice a year, and in contiguous months at that? Can’t I be thankful without eating a large flightless bird? (Dude, they don’t fly, do they?)
Speaking of which, Paul and I visited an ostrich and emu farm this weekend. Sick. Ostriches are pretty much the creepiest, stinkiest, stupidest birds ever. Why don’t we eat them for Thanksgiving? They don’t deserve to live.
Oh, yeah…XBox blah blah, nintendo, gamecube baseball boohoo need video games yada yada.
I think I’ve seen the idea of a book club/discussion group tossed around on two sites now. I can’t wait for someone to pick a book. Frankenstein anyone? I bough a copy 6 months ago and can’t bring myself to read it.
Wow, this is meaningless. What an Ecclesiastes post. Anybody wanna see P&P this weekend? Mike, if your gamebox doesn’t come, how about a little Mr. Darcy to cheer you up?

first of all, you are a lifesaver! i had forgotten that my favorite scruffy, quick-witted brit was going to be on the telly tonight. so thanks for the reminder. seriously. saved my life.
oh yes, and about Pride and Prejudice…I saw it during my internet furlough. While I am an awfully big fan of The Colin Firth, and it wasn’t the same without him…I did still enjoy it because it is still Pride and Prejudice. different. much faster. good. And I don’t know if mike would be cheered up by mr. darcy. i really think he’s more of a bingley man.

First of all, think nothing of it, ol’ chap (or the feminine equivalent)!
Second of all, definitely Bingley.

Ostriches or Ostrichi are very mean, and smelly, i know i’ve met a few of them, and i’ll tell you i’d rather eat one of them than a lame turkey any day! Ostrich tastes similar to beef, and i think with out the sleepy after effects. The only problem with Ostrich is they meat too expensive, mmm hmm. However, for all your ostrich needs start here.

Plagiarized from some website: “Tryptophan can be found in turkey, chicken, milk, cheese, fish, eggs, tofu, soy, sesame and pumpkin seeds, nuts, peanuts, and peanut butter.”
Tryptophan is also an amino acid precursor to serotonin, i.e. your body’s natural Prozac, so it makes you happy. And sleepy. So for thanksgiving this year, lets have tofusoyturkey and chicken, with fish covered in cheese, sesame seeds, nuts and peanut butter. Don’t forget the glass of milk.

i think i’d rather just have some prozac.
