Feet? Paws? Whatever.
Paul has an annoying habit–endearingly annoying–of putting his cold feet on me while I’m trying to sleep. He tried it yesterday. So I got up, got the cat (who was outside in the freezing cold), brought the cat to the bed, and put the cat’s cold feet on him. He thought they were cold. I thought it was funny. And also vindicating.

Lori and I sleep with a pillow at the foot of the bed (under the covers)… Initially this started as a defense mechanism to guard against kitty bites in the middle of the night or early morning which result from moving your feet under the covers… as time went on it turned out this also was perfect for keeping my feet warm through out the night… if your feet get too toasty you put them above the pillow but still below the covers and you catch cool air!
It’s AMAZING what our life has come to!

If you’re referring to the little things that you find interesting/enjoyable in married life, I would have to agree. There are a lot of things I enjoy just because we’re married, and probably could have cared less about before.
As for animals in bed, the dog sleeps at our feet. She won’t come up by our faces ever, only by the feet for whatever reason. Luckily she doesn’t bite.

Jill does this freaky posessed thing. I like to stretch sometimes when I shift positions in the middle of the night. On three occassions, while I’m stretching my arms out, she grabs my arm in mid air without ever opening her eyes or waking up. I was ready to flip through the yellow pages to find the local exorcist the first time it happened. So now I sleep in fear… endearing fear.

So, if I get Paul exorcised, put pillows on him and make him sleep at the foot of the bed, I might be rid of this problem? Hmmm…
