Two scottish guys walk into a bar

Not really. I just happen to be in the middle of a book by G.K. Chesteron (The Ball and the Cross) in which two Scotchmen, an atheist and a Catholic, are currently attempting to fight a duel over whose views are correct. It’s a good story, and I’ve been reading it instead of doing homework.

This Friday, some mysterious person sends me an email around 10 or 11am to let me know whether or not I got an internship placement. Then around 12:45 I go get my teeth cleaned. Then around 6pm we go out for a dinner which will either be very happy, or rather depressed, depending on the aforementioned email.

Off to class.

Correction: The email will be send at 10am EAST coast time. Great. The only thing that makes difficult news more difficult is having to get up early for it.

It all just seems like too many hoops to jump through… I’d make a Lakers and Hoops joke but, we’ll wait until you get the results…

hey, i’ll be up. call me and let me know the news, if you feel like it. otherwise, i will wait until whenever you do feel like it. i know it’ll be good, whatever Jesus has in store for you, but i’m rooting for the outcome you’d like the most. xox
