State your name. Then name your state.

I can never remember the abbreviations for states, particularly all the “M” states. I bet you don’t know them either, so here they are. Go make some flash cards.

MAINE—ME

MARSHALL ISLANDS—MH

MARYLAND—MD

MASSACHUSETTS—MA

MICHIGAN—MI

MINNESOTA—MN

MISSISSIPPI—MS

MISSOURI—MO

MONTANA—MT

First, let me say I don’t know why Montana is in such big letters.

Second, where the heck are the marshall islands? Somebody else look it up.

    Territories is the clarification I was looking for. Sorry, I was just being annoying.
