Irrelevant Update #352

Just a quick check-in to keep you updated on all the fascinating developments of my whirlwind existence. We’re cleaning the house. Wow. You’d understand how exciting that was if you knew how seldom we do so.

I’d like to make an official blargate (new adjective describing actions performed via a blog/blarg) welcome to the Lytles. May your visit be filled with as much healing and as little cynicism as could rationally be expected. In other words, sorry about all the cynicism, and welcome home if only for a short while.

Cleaning out one of my (few and small) closets, I realize I have a tendency to save Christmas-scented candles because every year I’m given them as gifts, I ration them so as to not use them up too quickly in the yuletide season, and then end up with most of them leftover in January. What. I think I’ll burn every single one I have on the first day after Thanksgiving, buy a few more, and attempt to keep running out every single day until Christmas.

And finally, even though John M. doesn’t read my blog (heck, who does?) I’d like to say Thanks! and I look forward to engaging in the sort of discussion which helps a Church to make organizational decisions in transparent, communicative, and person-sensitive ways. May the Lord bless our discussion and John’s future.

I think John M. would thoroughly enjoy your blog, and you should immediately email it to him. :)

Maybe some of the christmas candle scents would mix well together. Like a vanilla and a berry scent, to create a nice vanilla berry.
