We hold these truths to be self-evident: That all Internship Programs are NOT created equal…

Get out the Kleenex. We’re not moving to Oklahoma. Turns out their program would require me to work with children a lot and would require a minimum of 52 hours per week, although 60 is more the norm. Yeah. And the pay is $22,000 for the year. Yeah. Did I mention its in Oklahoma?

Missouri, Texas, Arizona or California here we come.

    10 hour days, 6 days a week? That’s insane.

5 days a week. So either 10 or 12 hour days. Sucky.

I didn’t know Oklahoma was even on the radar screen. You missed some good meatloaf at the Keene’s. And I missed your insights on Til We Have Faces. As always, I love the way ol’ Clive writes, but this one has me basically stumped. I get the theme of possesive love, and even the theme of jealousy or a sense of being betrayed by a loved one who moves to a ‘higher level’ in a spiritual experience. But it’s not quite all coming together for me. I’m saying, “huh?” a lot. Of course I’ve only read to chapter 12. Maybe it’ll make more sense as I read on.

I’d like to try and plan ahead to attend next week. It helps to have a second read-thru on the book, I’m finding.
