Caption: The Mild Menace Strikes Again

Yesterday we had lunch at the DL (Downey Landing), and a bunch of kids were running in circles around a planter which surrounds the big tree outside Starbucks and Quiznos. All of us are mildly annoyed/scandalized, except Paul, whose eyes gleam as he watches little kids act crazy and do things they shouldn’t.

MRI: You wanna go run around with them, huh?

Paul: (Big mischevious smile).

I take a bite of fish taco and Paul mysteriously disappears from my side and then reappears on the planter with a bunch of six year olds. He’s already running. There are quite a few bemused/confused adult faces, but the six year olds are treating this like Christmas and chase their new friend around the planter.

He only made a couple laps, and refused to continue so as to allow me to take a picture.

I should probably get him a cape to wear when he does stuff like this.
