The total was 6 interviews, with 2 sites left to report. I received an email from one site stating that they “regretted to inform me that my application was no longer under consideration,” etc.

Then they sent another email asking me to disregard the erroneous previous email, and stating that they were pleased to offer me an interview.

That which is usually delusional wishful thinking has actually transpired.

Make that 7 interviews.
