Monday Bilge

Mediocre posts (by which I mean the particularly mediocre ones) usually begin this way. I begin realizing I haven’t posted for upwards of nine days, I look at the productivity of fellow bloggers, feel blog-guilt and begin writing despite having little to say.

I’m sure most of you are aware that today was Monday. At time of writing, it shall continue to be so for another 4 hours and 24 minutes. For me, Monday means I spent several hours on the freeway in order to travel to and from the valley to confirm the already positive belief that I wanted to go to the internship site located there. Time well spent. The chief selling point of this location (sarcastically speaking) is that it is the filming location for Grey’s Anatomy, and apparently Patrick Dempsey is a pretty nice guy. I returned home with no graffitti on my car, but with a bad case of caffeine jitters heightened by interview exhaustion. I took a nap. See, this blog entry is really starting to take off. Now I’m listening to Paul, who is learning to play the snare drum and experimenting with recording hand claps, and smelling the old bills he’s burning in the fireplace. It’s strangely reminiscent of a church trip to Yosemite in 1995.

Heroes tonight, and don’t forget House M.D. is back tomorrow (Amy). Jason, I think you should name your gnome Griebel, which is the name of a gnome factory in eastern Germany. I can’t remember my password to blog on your site today. Maybe tomorrow.
