MRI Austen? MRI Bronte? MRI Wharton? Doubtful.

On a literary note, I was feeling A. incredibly left out and B. in dire need of good reading material, so I decided to write my own story. I wrote one chapter. I can’t tell if it sucks really bad, or just kinda bad. I haven’t written a second chapter because I don’t know what’s supposed to happen next. It is sooooo much easier to just read books.

On a Mexicany note, I just had a burrito from Marisa’s that was 97% rice. There was a smidge of chicken and one single, solitary peeeento beeeen (pinto bean).

Hey, I try to warn people… when you go to Grease-risa’s you assume the risks involved.

Well you better get posting, otherwise you’ll never know how bad it really sucks. :p

But seriously, writing is a very interesting process that is hard to understand until you actually start doing it. I have no idea if my book is any good so far…but I’m learning stuff as I go, and you gotta get that first book done and out of the way at some point. I’m just hoping it will be worth reading.

Did you ever read Running With Scissors? I remember you saying you wanted to.

No. I should probably put a moratorium on identifying any more books I want to read since the queue is already about 10 books deep, including a biography of Churchill. When I say I am in ‘dire need of good reading’ I mostly mean I have plenty of good non-fiction to read, but still can’t leave off my quest to find my next favorite fiction author. I should learn to leave off.

    I second Heads on Pikes.

Running with Scissors is pretty much fiction, but I get what you’re saying. Just throwing my suggestion out there.
