I don’t have much to say. I’m tired.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m pretty sure last week’s episode of The Office wasn’t funny. It’s like a part of me has died.

Happy Monday night. My computer thinks it’s 10:14, but I know better. Daylight savings is hard enough without all the shifting around of dates.

I nominate this post for most fascinating post of the year.

John, that was possibly the only funny moment. Well, maybe not the only.

Jim: You playing that game again?

Dwight: Second Life is not a game. It is a multi-user, virtual environment. It doesn’t have points or scores. It doesn’t have winners or losers.

    Jim: Oh, it has losers.

I think Dwight’s sadness is really depressing. Surprisingly, I find his suffering in no way amusing. Poor D.

Also, Jason, I’d like to personally thank The Office for the following syrup shout out:

Michael Scott: “Phyllis is like our Mrs. Butterworth. Kind of a less urban Aunt Jemima.”

hahaha. Nathan, I tried that link and i only made it to the second screen cuz I don’t know what kind of windows I have. hhahahahah.

    i’m lame.

You’re not the only one who has been thinking the same about this season of the office. I find many of the hour long episodes drag with unfunny moments. Overall still an enjoyable show to watch but maybe it’s jumped the shark with pam and jim now in a realtionship and the love interest battle has switched to the dwight andy and angela love triangle…

Regarding your DST issue and many other Windows related issues… I have a solution I’m sure quite a few will disagree on… visit:
    store.apple.com
scroll down on the right hand side find save big limited time offers certified refurbished and click on it.

buy an iMac… they work well!

ok so that’s not the solution
following the link listed above will take you to MS labyrinth and eventually you’ll have to validate the authentic of your copy of Windows XP Home edtion…

Try This Link and hit download now, after it’s downloaded run the file and it should fix the problem.

I thought the next in line British conversion, The I.T. Crowd was The Office II, so now we have an Office III?

  10. Padfoot240 Says:

    Whoever won the Haiku contest?

  11. Chris Luna Says:

Yeah TV was cool for a couple of years now it’s just getting sad. Despite that, Dwight still is king.
Shameless Plug: Check me out at thelunaverse.blogspot.com. It’s full of my views on life, church, cartoons and my crazy adventures with Scott Baio.

    Who wins the Haiku contest?

The award for “Most Capable of Causing Me to Have High School Flashbacks” goes to Trent.

The award for “Most Actually Poetry-like” goes to Judy.

The award for “Dripping with Post-Modern Irony” goes to kevin.

The award for “Best Use of Critical Historic Event to Communicate Sarcasm and Derision about Modern Culture” goes to John.

The award for “Persistence in Referring to Bodily Functions” goes to Nathan. Also, the cow broccoli. Talk about a good band name. Or child name.

The award for “Reminding Me the Most of that ‘I’m My Own Grandpa’ Song” goes to Amy (for the cousin one.).

Let’s just say Jason gets the award for “Poems about Wood.” Nuf said.

And finally, an honorable mention for Cory, who technically deviated from the proper haiku metric, but whose timely commentary on the recent natural disasters highlighted the widespread apathy observable in our culture. Also, it made me laugh.

You all get cans of tomatoes.

  15. MRI Webmaster Says:

And Chris, in the “blogosphere” it’s not so much “shameless plugging” as “spamming.” (insert Stephen Colbert style ‘air quotes’ for each of those).

  16. Judy Says:

I really liked Trent’s Haiku a lot. It reminded me of stairs at Cal State Long Beach, that I once fell down, breaking the heal on my boot and dropping my books all over the place.

  17. Trento Says:

    Cop out,
    but thanks for the acknowledgement.
