Blech.

I went to my 10 year reunion so I could talk to a bunch of people I see occasionally/frequently anyway, and a handful of people I haven’t seen in 10 years. This in combination with some chicken with white sauce is worth about $100, apparently.

I am going to Hawaii after all. Revision to the abstract was accepted and now we’re gonna buy plane tickets. Finding plenty of stuff for around $350. Kona here I come.

Oh, happy 28th birthday to me. Now I’m as old as the rest of you. Thanks to all the family who came out to lunch and for all the really fun gifts. Plant is going to my office tomorrow, along with The Office office supplies. Book will be going on vaca, where I’ll be wearing the sweater and handmade necklace. Yay!

I’m tired and I’m going on vacation on Wednesday, and boy do I need it. I have a feeling I’m gonna work really really (not) hard tomorrow.

happy birthday! drink mai tais in moderation.
