Strep throat, almost certainly acquired while surfing. By the time we got home Tuesday he was sick, and he went to the doctor on Wed. He tried a little decongestant on top of the penicillin and had an epigastral event, but seems to be mending now.

Go on a nyquill and airborne regiment. I don’t know if it actually works, but I sleep better.

Zicam Cold Remedy Oral Mist has worked for me more than once.
Is it a cold that’s got Paul?

Wikipedia says:
The incubation period for strep throat is thought to be between two to five days.

But he did go surfing earlier in the week, too. So that might have been it.

Jason Yost, a trustworthy individual always told me a shot of high end tequila before bedtime always does the trick. Hasn’t failed me yet.
