Hawaiian Post
Well, its sunny and 75 here–gorgeous as usual in the hawaiian islands, which are never more stunning that when the climate the rest of the world over is chilly and gray. Wish you all were here. The big island is VERY quiet–makes Kauai feel like a city–and the Kohala coast where we are at present is covered in old lava fields. A drive to the northeast tip of the island brought rain and a jungly climate, but none of that here. Just sun and scattered palms.
Anyhow, the real reason for the post is to congratulate the Albericos (accent on the second syllable, right Paul?) on producing male offspring. Lori, he’s probably baking lasagna in your belly now. Second, to request continued prayers re: post-docs. I’ll be deciding between the two in SD for sure and just received on offer of an interview from the site in LA, so pray away.

Congratulations on your 2 offers in San Diego and the upcoming interview at Rancho. Nice to know you won’t have to beat the bushes to get your hours in for your license. . . and you have good choices from which to pick. The guest room upgrades now include a headboard with some Raymond art hanging above it, down pillows and down blanket and little tables on both sides of the queen size memory foam bed. See you Friday!

Here in wonderful Downey is has been beautiful and 80 degrees. Of course the weathermen say the temperature is going to drop again just in time for our trip to Turlock. Can’t wait to hear more about your Hawaiian trip.
Congrats on your interview in LA and your 2 offers. You will be in my prayers for sure.
See you on Saturday and if you remember bring some driving music.
