Since we’re not telling the name I’ve joked that the baby’s name is “Skip” or “Skippy.” I also like Ace. None of these are the actual name of course, but people can have fun calling the baby those nicknames until it’s revealed.

Did interview at Hope. I’m probably gonna accept a clinical post-doc, probably in the SD area, so I can’t take a position with them (which they aren’t 100% sure they’re actually offering), but nice to meet with the folks and talk about coming and teaching part-time some day, which is what I’d really like to do.

And yes, maybe the commies took my shoes. The lines at the Government Shoe and Cheese Shop are probably out the door and anyway, two old babushkas are probably wrestling over the last pair of newspaper/rag sandals.

I love Crotch-High Boots — they’re playing Acoustic Christmas this year.
