D — Fence!!!

Jason said he was going to make a sign that said “D” and bring a piece of fence to my defense. I thought that was clever.

Defense is over. 2 months more of internship and they give me a doctorate. Turns out people are hiring out their revisions, so that’s what I’m gonna do. Many many thanks to those who attended today — it was awesome to have backup, and nice to share a celebratory margarita.

Grad school, thy days art numbered.

That was fun and interesting and you were awesome! Thanks for letting me tag along. Very few people have the opportunity to witness one of those D-Fence thingies, so I feel quite fortunate. You’ve worked stinkin’ hard for a bazillion years and have earned all the good things that will come to you for your effort. I also know that you are aware of and humbly appreciative of all of God’s blessings along the way. . . which makes it even more enjoyable for all of us to celebrate along with you.

Super awesome goodness. I know the relief and satisfaction of finishing my credential, so I can only imagine how much grander finishing a doctorate must feel. Way to go!

I had a good time at your dissertation defense. It was nice to hear all about what you have been working on for a long time. It was very exciting to hear your committee say you had passed.

Thanks for the kind words about my husband it is nice to be associated with your consultant.

The celebratory margarita was very good. I am looking forward to celebrating even more when you are done with everything!!!!

Joanne, hire Joanne. She can edit till the cows come home.

    Plus, she’s really good.

Did you know that she carries around a red pen wherever she goes?
