I forestall thee, Oh Death!

So I’m posting just so nobody dead-lists me. But honestly, I’m super short of anything interesting to say lately. I’ve been too happy/relieved and indignation is generally what drives my posts (and my life in general. Maybe I ought to be careful not to die of indignation deprivation). So, a few unrelated thoughts.

1. Dance lessons are fun.
2. I enjoy trimming roses.
3. PD James is no Sayers and no Christie, but she’ll do.
4. I haven’t made a martini in several months. It must be time for a party with a special theme cocktail for the evening.
5. I’m pretty sure Obama’s platform is predicated on the fact that 1. I am unhappy, 2. Other people owe me something, and 3. The government can and should make that happen, and I don’t see how any of that is good or true.
6. We’re having lentil soup for dinner.
7. I need to work on my handstands, preferably with a spotter.
8. I enjoy studying for standardized tests. Now that I’m studying for the first licensure exam, I’m actually awash in (positive) nostalgia of my SAT days.

Bye.

Well I, for one, am jazzed that first on your list was dance lessons are fun. I also like to trim roses, and mine need it, so maybe tomorrow.

Dominique Margaux Dawes, at your service.

    Is that pronounced “Mar–gox”?

Dude. Michelle Kwan lives in my building. She can’t help you with handstands, but she’s the one to see when you’re ready to work on your double axle.

No death for you. You are alive and well.
