Okay, so I just stumbled upon your website. But I must interject a little tale (tail?) from my neck of the woods. I was on campus the other day, and if you instead of tossing pretzels at them, left the pretzels lying around, they will indeed eat them in their original format. I saw a squirrel pick up one of those nice Rold Gold tiny twists and eat it with both paws in appropriate pretzel-eating fashion nibbling right from the top.

Maybe they prefer some seasoning...like some chili powder, or more salt...perhaps a jalapeno flavor?

Nah, that's just Southern California wildlife... they are spoiled just like all of us!

The only stale pretzels I can manage to eat are the Rolled Gold Honey Sticks because they are still sweet once they are stale.
